How Do You Make a Brand Stand Tall?
Four years ago, we began working with the Lincoln Square Chamber of Commerce to help evolve their brand. Since that time we have worked together to redesign their core materials including the logo, stationery, business cards, neighborhood guide & directory, event posters, promotional items and invitations. Recently we’ve even had the opportunity to bring this new identity into the physical environment with the development of street pole banners, permanent event signage, and most recently, an obelisk.

The newly designed obelisk at the corner of Western Ave. and Leland Ave. right off of the Western brown line L stop.
Standing 15-feet tall, this three-sided obelisk is one of the main landmarks in the neighborhood. Unfortunately, the existing monument was an eyesore that served no real purpose and displayed an outdated neighborhood logo (which some people actually found offensive). This nondescript brown metal structure couldn’t be removed because it would be too expensive, so we worked with the Chamber to design a vinyl wrap that transformed the monument into a visually captivating landmark. This new monument has been a welcome addition to the neighborhood and also allows the Chamber to update it periodically to promote some of the upcoming community events.
