If Flash is so pervasive, why would Apple chose to disallow it on the next generation of its web-connected devices? Well, Apple sees a mobile future and one that is not tied to desktops or even laptops, it takes another step forward onto your phones, your TVs, and of course your iPad. And Flash is not ready to make the leap.

Have you ever woken up in the morning, looked in the mirror, and realized you could use a trim? In that moment you imagine yourself jumping into that chair, snapping on the smock and letting a professional clean you up. In the 90s, Dell was the model of operational innovation. With a phone/internet ordering system and a regionally-based manufacturing approach, they single-handedly eliminated the need for any distributors or retail stores. This allowed them to sell computers at a price that dramatically undercut their competition. The problem with Dell’s solution was that the other industry players quickly adapted and began to offer prices that were just as competitive. As each “beige box” flooded the market, Dell lost a piece of its brand.
